Librarians are rolling their bikes in Romania (again!)
Starting from the Constanta city on the Black Sea we will have a six day ride through Dobrogea, one of the oldest lands in the region, to reach the old port of Galați. From August 14th to 19th we will ride in style and with no hurry through the Danube Delta region, visit ancient fortresses (Histria, Enisala), ports (Tulcea, Brăila) and talk with librarians from four different counties. During the 350km ride we will have time for professional discussions and for engaging in learning opportunities.
This event is initiated and organized by a group of Romanian librarians with the support of: ANBPR (The National Association of Librarians and Public Libraries in Romania), ABR (The Romanian Library Association), and Progress Foundation.
The 130 Euro registration fee covers accomodation (hostel/student dorms), breakfasts, lunches for five days and three diners. The group is open to all but the size is limited so please fill the registration form as soon as possible and follow us on our CicloBiblio Romania Facebook page.
Looking forward to riding togeter,
Claudia Serbanuta and Laszlo Kiss
